MEXICO CITY – Leftist stalwart Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Wednesday launched a legal offensive against the recently approved overhaul of Mexico’s oil industry, formally accusing President Enrique Peña Nieto of treason. “We will reverse all of these anti-people, submissive measures. That is the objective of our movement, of our struggle,” he said after filing a criminal complaint with the Attorney General’s Office.
