Venceremos Companero Guillermo Bejarano! This is a great honor from Transito_mix, though I cannot fathom its ultimate import yet. A lot of it will depend on what we do, with whom we network and our future work.
We are barely scratching the surface of our mass potential and will grow larger and wider as time goes by so long as we never betray our basic humane principles, work closely with our peoples in our daily lives and keep our long-range vision in mind as we move forward.

We are barely scratching the surface of our mass potential and will grow larger and wider as time goes by so long as we never betray our basic humane principles, work closely with our peoples in our daily lives and keep our long-range vision in mind as we move forward.
We need to stop and think in order to transform our whole mentality away from thinking of ourselves as Amerikans. Amerika never has and never will include us in the Amerikan dream that has become a nightmare for millions.
It is our right as an oppressed people to identify ourselves any way we want and our natural right to reclaim our heritage and our lands in the name of Aztlan!
It is our right as an oppressed people to identify ourselves any way we want and our natural right to reclaim our heritage and our lands in the name of Aztlan!
Humanely and logically this does not mean we seek the senseless sham of a separate nation when the whole world is already interlocked within the context of connected reality as we all need each other. It does mean that we reserve the right to name these lands Aztlan, which is more in tune with ancient historical reality than the foul farce of Americanism.
We are not senseless. We know that many peoples from diverse cultures and various backgrounds built upon these lands and the fruits of our labors should be shared with all or our families in need without regard to color, race or national identity. We are truly an indigenous cosmic people!
In all these endeavors, we must never forget the basic needs of the people: food, clothing, shelter, medical care and community education. Nor should we isolate ourselves being online on our computers when there is mass wide community education work to be done in our own local communities by vanguard cadres.
A people who are not literate, including computer literate in this new high-tech millennium, will never be fully liberated from the oppression
of economic poverty and their own ignorance. It is up to vanguard leadership to help educate the people as they help educate us!

On behalf of Transitio_mx, Fundación BBVA Bancomer and Fundación Cultural México-Estados Unidos de América, co-organizers of the Transnational Communities Award, I am both pleased and honored to inform you that Network Aztlan was acknowledged with an Honorific Mention. The jury members are Fran Ilich (Possible Worlds), Mark Tribe (Rhizome.org) and Diana McCarty (Bootlab.org). laloalcaraz@
This Honorific Mention will soon be announced at
Transitio's website and the news will circulate among
mass media. Unfortunately we are not able to cover
travel and stay's expenses, but the invitation to join
us at the awards ceremony on October 19th is open for
you or for any other person that you designate to
represent Network Aztlan.
Muchas felicidades y muchas gracias, William, por el
proyecto tan valioso.
Un abrazo sincero,

Our reply:
Dear Sra. Mariana Delgado and Jury Members of the
Fundación Cultural México-Estados Unidos de América,
A.C.
I do except the Honorific Mention.
Thank you for the honor and invitation to attend your
awards event, which was also extended to welcome our
Monitors. In absents of myself in attending, please
except the following statement of acknowledgment of
the award.:

"Thank you for the honors in digital media."
We are happy to receive acknowledgement from the
Transitio_mx for its' particular mission for web/video
honors, from the sponsors of the "transnational
communities" and of attendants and participants
involved with the festival awards. We are pleased to
have submitted our web site as an online social
network, art & literary form, archival, and
informational news bureau.
===================== =====
As I am, the Internet Publisher for Network Aztlan dot
com, I personally appreciate the honor to be able to
outreach to media developers and to the Art Net of the
festival awards. Network Aztlan is an alternative news
and digital form, which is vital in US/Mexico digital
communities. We say most importantly. "To have
knowledge, expressing truth, liberty and community in
web-media are essential --transnational."
We will provide a vital Latino / Chicano / Mexican
American Perspective that we've looked to you for our
advancements.
Thank you,
Guillermo Aurelio Bejarano

Honorees:
This award brings us International recognition, in
fact the United States government is sponsoring this
award, now more aware of our Chicano identity and
intellectual perspectives, it should bring us and the
humor/cartoonist more needed space to express
themselves and gaining more momentum in building good relationships with other people across US borders. Our groups united is stronger because there is a need for
electronic media and e-community (transnational), that
we worked (independently) but in whole of NA.C have
work together to achieve.
Thank you in sharing with me this honor: The
Transito_mx invitation is open.
Abarzo,
Guillermo

you mentioning this awhile back. Let me see if I put
on my good huaraches right now I could probably make
it close to the border if I hitchhike and not hit by a
drive-by by Oct. 19th.
For us, smile!
Other than that I am stuck in Sacra for the time
being, plus, I got my odd job s at Sally's to attend
to {Salvation Army}. I hope to be financially able to
make a decent living off of writing between here and
death, but it is slow work.
IF this all comes about what will it mean for Network
Aztlan? I imagine more Internet exposure, though, I
believe what we need is more original writings,
artworks and other forms of creative expression by all
of us and the inclusion of others.
Maybe we can submit a You-Tube video to these people?
It would be good if you or someone else could make it
down there.
It is the day of recognition for the mass murderer
Columbus in Amerika and I have a few IEDs to put
together... uhh... I mean IDs! So I gotta get back to
tinkering...Keep smiling! Venceremos! Peta http://www.networka
