Companero Aztatl ~Sounds like you are in a bizarre situation. Hard to pin down with boots on the ground. I would say you might be better off moving into an area that is more hospitable for you. We should be aware enough not to universalize our personal experience. It seem like the local folk have you 'profiled'. I don't drink alcohol so I will toast you back with a cup of hot canela.
With all the Email addresses here I hope you get some tangible feedback in relation to a possible relocation. We know that wherever we go there we are. Make sure that any issues you have that hamper your spiritual growth are not unresolved and just create another situation where you need to resolve inherent contradictions.

Now the neighbour has his friends driving fast in front of my house, squealing tires and honking horns (strangers who race into and out of my driveway every day without stopping), staring at me daring me to respond.
The neighbor is friends with the family who lives on a one block long city street that dead ends. The neighbors approached me about walking my dog on their private street. They said Geiger Street is not a public street and asked that I cease from using the street to walk my dog. The street is a public street.

This here is an update on the situation where I live. Friends have urged me to look for another place to move into. It would be the easy thing to do but after awhile a similar situation would soon develope at the new place. So with your help I think I shall remain and seek to adjust the living situation here. All across this country peace activists, and labor and community organizers are being harrassed for our stance on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The internet is a good organizing tool. This is why in Egypt and Libya attempts have been made to control the airways. I have enjoyed the support of many friends across the country.

Jan. 22, 2011 No water to the apartment 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. I informed the landlord but have yet to hear on cause.
Feb. 4, 2011 to Feb. 7, 2011 No water to the apartment. Thanks for the help from neighbors I accumulated 10 gallons plus a 7 gallon container of water.
New neighbor moved in across the street. Second day there he and his friends were making fun of me, cat calling and whistling the way some men do to gain a woman's attention. A week later a neighbor who lives down the street called Animal Protection on the new neighbor because she said she observed the man grab one of the puppies by the head and toss it from the front porch to land against the steel fence surrounding the yard. The dog cried from the pain. Animal protection appeared and warned the family. A month later I observed the same person grab a puppie from the scruff of the neck and toss it into the back seat of his truck. The gate was left open as it usually is so the poor animal wanted to go along for a ride. The small dogs go in and out of the yard at will. The street is a busy intersection. I have 3 rescued dogs from such abuse so I called Animal Protection. They in turn sent out Animal Control.
Now the neighbour has his friends driving fast in front of my house, squealing tires and honking horns (strangers who race into and out of my driveway every day without stopping), staring at me daring me to respond.
Another neighbor who lives on Gatewood not far from my apartment also began showing up on Nashville in front of my house, racing down the street and honking his horn. He knows the animal abuser and he knows my political views. He lives off Geiger and Gatewood. Recently he accosted another neighbor of ours using abusive language because she is a community organizer. Some people who live across the street from him nearly ran me over last week.
The neighbor is friends with the family who lives on a one block long city street that dead ends. The neighbors approached me about walking my dog on their private street. They said Geiger Street is not a public street and asked that I cease from using the street to walk my dog. The street is a public street.
Another neighbor across the driveway from me is in collusion with the dog abuser as well. He is angry because when I first moved in he gave me a computer that was broken. I invested $625 to fix it. Two months later I signed onto a provider when my neighbor said we could each share the cost of the service. He paid half the cost. Then he asked for the pin code. I refused because I do not give that out to anyone. This led to his friendship with the neighbor who was recently evicted for harrassing me and almost running me down with her car. This same neighbor is presently in collusion with the dog abuser.
Not many people know the full story of the eviction of the neighbor who for the six months harrassed, threatened and who also called me a Mexican faggot. Consequently I think that bits of this knowledge leads to rumor and gossip.
I think I am being harrassed currently for a number of reasons, including racism,
ageism and homophobia, although I am not gay (as if my sexual preference is ever anybody's business but mine). New Mexico remains a living contradiction due to deep seated historical differences between the European powers which entered the area of the United States to colonize, and the indigenous nations already living here for thousands of years previous. My standing as a Mexican grandfather who still chooses to wear his hair long and who cannot afford to own an automobile, one who walks our streets with a back pack filled with recently perchased groceries is an embarrassment to the community. Some people who do not appreciate nor acknowledge a mixed blood living amoung them would prefer that half breeds no longer existed. The jails and prisons are filled with persons of one color or another.
I am Xikano and Coahuila. And both at the same time. I feel that the blood and thoughts of both nations coarse through my innards.
A Spotted Eagle chant and a teswin y tequila toast to you all...
