Thursday Morning @5:01 AM
Well I am on my first cup of coffee. Let us move on!
I first got involved with an online group when I became a member of the old AIM Yahoo Group that eventually fell apart because of internal group divisions. I learned a lot from that experience, especially about Native Americans who are on the Internet. There is now a new Yahoo AIM Group that is more user friendly, but still stuck in the mud of old ineffective traditional ways with the character defects of modern ways: egotism, individualism and tribalism.
The old AIM Yahoo Group got into attacking each other and some of its members knew each other in person and had direct interactions with each other which resulted in some improper behavior. There was some discussion about FBI infiltrationn agenda provacateurs and such matters. I'll let it go at that.
In that group, I was limited in what I could post by the Group Moderators which was more of a clique. Fortunately, I met a few key people online from that group, incuding Lakota Sioux members, with whom I still have contact. Overall, I came to have a greater appreciation of my own native-indigenous roots planted in the Chiricahua Apache and Sonoran Yaqui tribes.
I always look and see interconnections between different topics and keep it mind the humaneness of us all. Thus, so I could exercise my freedom of creative expression and dialogue with other kindred-souls, I started my own online group called the Humane-Rights-Agenda Yahoo Group:
Members: 348
Category: Human Rights
Founded: Jul 22, 2001
Language: English
Group Settings:

Notice I started the Humane-Rights-Agenda Group PRE-911 of 2001, which will always be a dividing timeline in modern human history.
I joined up with Aztlan News Group on August 25, 2006 now called NetworkAztlan_News. We lost contact with some members from the name change instituted by GB, but I hope they get hip to the new name changes. Yes, there is a Yahoo Group function that notifies new members of group name changes, but sometimes individual Emails work best.
It is good that we have some heavyweights here, though, there are elements of egotism that we have to watch out for at time goes by.
It is good for us to welcome newcomers, encourage them to express themselves and be open to new ideas, new forms of growth and new ways of looking at old subjects. Newcomers are the lifeline of any kind of group endeavor.

Of course action is primary and there is the companion Aztlan Action Yahoo Group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NetworkAztlan_Action/
Although it is also a news source the primary emphasis should be on specific action-oriented events. So there is some duplication and overlapping going on with the two groups, then, there are two others.
So these different groups get cumbersome and this needs to be looked at to avoid redundancy. All social issues are inherently interconnected. I primarily post news items to the news group and actually have a real vibrant life away from the computer that keeps me busy.

Today, after my work at the TSA shelter I plan to go to the AA-All Tribes Group at the local Indian Health Center and fellowship there. Then I need to do some planning for my upcoming trip to San Francisco where I will be staying from Sunday morning to Tuesday evening.
I am watching CNN News right now. Did anyyone see Billy Clinton last night on the Larry King Show? It love the news because it is new every day and night. Action is fine but it must be enlightened by guiding principles, sound analyses and humane soulful qualities. The key is to always be actively involved in raising consciousness, including our own.

Wednesday ~ Hump Day~ @6:52 AM Venceremos!
We will win so long as we always keep in mind the power of unity based upon revolutionary principles and solidarity based upon humane love, incisive intelligence and mutual understanding. I am only one of the Moderatrors. GB is the Webmaster.Re-read Guillermo mensaje:My life revolves around my work in different spheres of activity. I simply do not have the real time to open and read all the Emails for this Group, plus, keep in mind that I also am the Moderator for several other groups, including the Humane-Rights-Agenda, the Immigrant-Rights- Agenda and others. So you can call me the ass-o. I pray we all have one. We need to stop and think a minute before we post Group Messages and keep in mind the distinction between a rational response and a mere emotional reaction in our mensajes. Some matters could be discussed below the Group level.
With all due respect, let us not start flaming each other like a bunch of left-nut gringos. We are natural natives of Aztlan! Fuck Amerika!
I will be going to San Francisco this next weekend for a few days and will be going into the Mission District to spin webs with a few activists and artistas. In the future, we can communicate via chat room and conference calls. Plus, I am with GB and am interested in other forms of media besides online groups, including blogs, videos and other creative expressions. Most of our gente are not even on the Internet and some are lucky to just have electricity and running water! Hell, I want to get involved with a basic community literacy program.Much remains to be done and we have to make up our minds to stay strong, stay tight together and be in this for the long haul of protracted war. If you can't run with the big dogs stay on the porch by your bowl. We must lead, follow or get out of the way. This is war!
Remember: in a revolution one wins or one dies!I need to get ready for work at the shelter, go clean toilets and take out the trash. It ain't easy being a Counselor!I have taken the liberty, iove taking my liberty, of posting up a list of our Moderators. Maybe we can have Rosaiio and Eugene as Moderators too. The harvest is fruitful but the laborers are few.

Eugene. I don't believe you ever asked me to spread
the word about this guy Mr. K or to call any station
managers. Maybe you asked aztlan news group to do
these things, thinking I was involved with it. In any
event couldn't you have just written out your concern
in your own name and "spread it around" the Aztlan
newsgroup (actually the name is NetworkAztlan_News que chicanostudent@
no?). Maybe you wrote using my name and since I
wasn't there whoever received it ignored it? Anyway
how you reacted to the ideas you mistakenly thought
was still inappropriate, an attack the personality of
individuals and not criticizing the politics. But
then again you and I apparently disagree on many
political principles. Rosalio Munoz
