May 31, 2012 ~ Our General Strategy should be to topple this Evil Empire and in order to do that we must unite with all peoples of all lands, agree on basic mobilizing principles and build local community infrastructure. We need to continue to exhaust all legal peaceful methods of struggle, yet we will win our total liberation by any and all means mandatory. Come hell or high water. It is still the ballot or the bullet.
This is struggle, this is war, this is war to the knife. If we have to take it to the graveyard we will. Nothing can stop us, except ourselves.
The whole Presidential Elections is just a major distraction from what we really need to be doing, taking care of our personal health, meeting our basic needs and building a basic community infrastructure. Tactical considerations are not shit if you do not even have a General Strategy.
I am not stuck in the lessor of two evils trap. If you choose the lesser of two evils you are still choosing evil. To hell with Obama and to hell with the Democratic Party. I for one will not compromise revolutionary principles for a few crumbs from the banquet table. I am a radical.
Better to look at the long road ahead, harder times to come, more intense struggles to be waged. Realism is at the core of liberating praxis.
We can't even get our own people together as La Raza because we are still caught up by what to call ourselves! La Raza Cosmcia, Latinos, Chicanos, Mexican-Americans, Hispanics etc. Hell, we're all of it. And let us not forget that we are ultimately original natives indigenous to Aztlan. I do not even consider myself an Amerikan anymore, though I am a U.S. citizen born in the USA (in case any ICE folks read this).
I am voting for Peta Lindsay. If you are hip you already know about where Obama has betrayed our vital interests. I am not preaching to the choir. Most of the hermanos in this Yahoo Group are from Southern California. I am not trying to convince anyone. Just sharing. Obama is a fascist corporate puppet and drone killer at a distance. Fool me once and that's on me. Fool me twice and I am a fool.
