Gracias Antonio ~ Whatever happens I try to be conscious of the need for Unity amongst us all connected to Aztlan News. I just share my truth. The way I want it, the way I see it. We are online here and no doubt there are agent provocateurs in many progressive groups.
I am not trying to convince anyone of anything. If our analyses are correct or not it will be revealed between here and death. I have grown in terms of my personal philosophy the last few years. I remain honest, open and willing to evolve. I don't want the last word or feel a need to be validated.

I am just trying to raise consciousness a little in my own little way. When I am online I am usually on Twitter. I now have 1,954 so-called Followers, though I prefer the term Connects. One link leads to another in a connected chain of websites.
There is so much good work to be done. I am glad I am still alive and well, in possession of my faculties on a good day. At 60 years of age I am now working on my own inner liberation. I am ready for whatever may come and death holds no fear for me. I am but one committed man trying to make it through the day and am aware of the dark days to come.
To me it is all a matrix now. I support Occupy Wall Street and local efforts in the direction of liberation. I work with a Christian recovery group and we meet at the local Salvation Army Homeless Shelter. I never do enough. I will try to write a little article soon and share it.
Let us work together to unify all oppressed peoples. We are not limited by anything other than our own fertile imagination.

I started a political party a long ago, but many are not interested enough to stay consistent and life often turns us one way or another. I still support the Brown Berets and all positive political efforts by mi gente. You are righ Antonio. Nobody here is stopping anyone from doing anything. Do you thing whatever it is, just keep love in your heart for La Raza Cosmica.

Right on Peta, no need to be justifying the criminality from both sides of the same corrupt coin. There are other ways of condemning this non-sense without falling into the trap of thinking that we need to support our own undoing. If people were that concerned with electoral power politics they would be out building a party that would reflect a clear block of votes based on defined principles not based on either mainstream party. There is no real negotiation when the house slave serving dinner to the master is made to think they have been accepted as equals simply because there are many out in the fields picking cotton.

May 31, 2012 ~ Our General Strategy should be to topple this Evil Empire and in order to do that we must unite with all peoples of all lands, agree on basic mobilizing principles and build local community infrastructure. We need to continue to exhaust all legal peaceful methods of struggle, yet we will win our total liberation by any and all means mandatory. Come hell or high water. It is still the ballot or the bullet.
This is struggle, this is war, this is war to the knife. If we have to take it to the graveyard we will. Nothing can stop us, except ourselves.
The whole Presidential Elections is just a major distraction from what we really need to be doing, taking care of our personal health, meeting our basic needs and building a basic community infrastructure. Tactical considerations are not shit if you do not even have a General Strategy.
I am not stuck in the lessor of two evils trap. If you choose the lesser of two evils you are still choosing evil. To hell with Obama and to hell with the Democratic Party. I for one will not compromise revolutionary principles for a few crumbs from the banquet table. I am a radical.
Better to look at the long road ahead, harder times to come, more intense struggles to be waged. Realism is at the core of liberating praxis.
We can't even get our own people together as La Raza because we are still caught up by what to call ourselves! La Raza Cosmcia, Latinos, Chicanos, Mexican-Americans, Hispanics etc. Hell, we're all of it. And let us not forget that we are ultimately original natives indigenous to Aztlan. I do not even consider myself an Amerikan anymore, though I am a U.S. citizen born in the USA (in case any ICE folks read this).
I am voting for Peta Lindsay. If you are hip you already know about where Obama has betrayed our vital interests. I am not preaching to the choir.
